ADS Dual Link CardBus - FireWire &
USB 2.0
The ADS Dual Link CardBus is a combination FireWire and USB 2.0 CardBus adapter, with two IEEE 1394 FireWire ports (6-pin &
4-pin) and two Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports.
Adds two FireWire ports
The ADS Dual Link CardBus adds two 1394a FireWire ports (one 6-pin and one 4-pin) to your
Windows laptop computer. Now you can take complete advantage of
high performance FireWire 400 IEEE-1394 peripherals, including digital video
(DV) camcorders,
webcams and FireWire hard drives.
Adds two Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports
The ADS Dual Link CardBus also adds two USB 2.0 ports to your laptop computer.
USB 2.0 is “backward compatible” with all USB 1.1 devices so you can run any
USB peripheral, USB 1.1 or USB 2.0. The ADS Dual Link CardBus FireWire USB
2.0 Adapter provides the maximum USB 2.0 speed of 480 Mbits/second. That’s 40 times faster than the standard USB 1.1 data transfer rate!
